INTERMEDIATE PISTOL COURSE DETAILS:

In this course, the student will begin to progress from their basic firearms skills to more intermediate-level skills.

Students will be exposed to more stress to increase their acclimation to shooting under pressure and in less-than ideal conditions.

Course topics and drills will include:

More efficient draw and weapon presentation concepts, unconventional firing positions, off-balance to on-balance concepts, communication during armed encounters, use of concealment/cover/barricades, moving and shooting, shooting under increased physical/mental stress, speed drills, accuracy drills, shot-timer drills, shoot/no-shoot drills, basic CQB (close quarter battle) concepts,

and maybe most importantly - vehicle dynamics, concepts, and drills - working in and around vehicles in shooting engagements.

This course begins to progressively press the envelope to help increase the student's skills under stress

and acclimate the student to increased physical and mental demands.

An intermediate certificate will be presented upon 100% participation and satisfactory completion.
